Toastmasters International is WHERE LEADERS ARE MADE and has been a world leader in communication and leadership development for over 90 years. We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals by becoming effective communicators and leaders. Our organization currently has more than 352,000 memberships and still counting. 16,400 clubs are chartered in 141 countries to set up a global network of meeting locations; one of the clubs is located in Malang, Indonesia.
Malang Toastmasters Club was chartered in October 2014 and has current membership of more than 30 members from heterogeneous backgrounds ranging from company executives, professionals, entrepreneurs as well as university students and staffs. As a part of Toastmasters International, Malang Toastmasters Club provides a supportive and positive learning experience in which individuals are entitled to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday every month at 7.00 pm – 8.30 pm. Our meetings follow time-tested agenda and educational program set out by Toastmasters International. By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere either at Malang Toastmasters Club meetings or any of the 16,400 Toastmasters Clubs meetings, leaders emerge from the Toastmasters program.
